What to do in Wengen in case of bad weather?
Summer or winter, Wengen is not immune to bad weather. How to keep busy in case of rain or heavy snowfall?

CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

In summer, take the cogwheel train from Wengen to Lauterbrunnen and visit the Lauterbrunnen Valley and Legends Museum.

The Trümmelbach Falls could be considered on a rainy summer day. Indeed, the waterfalls are even more impressive if it’s raining. They are located at approximately 30 minutes from Wengen. Get a discount by showing your guest card at the entrance.
On your way to these falls, stop at Lauterbrunnen and enjoy the view over the Staubbach waterfalls.
About an hour from Wengen, you can also visit the Aare Gorge.
From the center of the village of Wengen, some small and easy walks can be done all year round. Be sure to check the conditions with the tourist office before you leave.
